Nat Clegg was born in England and since 2004 has made Turin his home, hence his connection to Monviso. Nat’s first degree was through his studies at Bath Academy of Art, where he developed his passion for painting, drawing, photography, myth and magic. Nat later trained as a hypno-psychotherapist and today has merged these elements as one, culminating in his PhD in using creativity in coaching.
Nat has many interests in things that touch the question about existence and meaning and encapsulates this as a metaphor in images of Monviso. The mountain stands for the goal of the pilgrimage and ascent and hence often has the psychological meaning of the Self. For Nat, Monviso represents the Self in transformation and extension of who he is becoming, consciously and unconsciously; a life’s journey.
